Bob Evans
Bob Evans  (1904 - 1976) born in Richmond, Indiana of Welsh heritage, attended university of Miami, Ohio. In business he was involved with retail and insurance industry, he studied privately with Richard Wyckoff for 3+ years, which eventually lead to securing the rights to teach the Wyckoff trading method under an official license (the only official license practitioner post Wyckoff death in 1934). In 1951 Bob founded 'Wyckoff Associates, Inc' to continue his Wyckoff teachings, published newsletters and sell educational tapes. The tapes became the much loved product. Bob Evans had a reputation as an astute and successful stock market investor.

Bob Evans retired in 1974, and sold 'Wyckoff Associates,Inc' that eventually ended up as the 'Wyckoff Stock Market Institute', as it is known today (readtheticker.com is an approved affiliate of WyckoffSMI.com).

Bob Evans sold and taught the Richard Wyckoff course (seen below), he also provided education through a series of audio tapes (known as Evans Echoes). This course is now available in the Wyckoff Stock Market Institute online 'Wyckoff Unleashed' course.

Investing Quote...

.."There is a time for all things, but I didn’t know it. And that is precisely what beats so many men in Wall Street who are very far from being in the main sucker class. There is the plain fool, who does the wrong thing at all times everywhere, but there is the Wall Street fool, who thinks he must trade all the time. Not many can always have adequate reasons for buying and selling stocks daily – or sufficient knowledge to make his play an intelligent play."...

Jesse Livermore

..“Successful speculation requires staying on top of changes in industries and companies that either create new industries or improve on existing industries. The majority of your profits will come from these two … The shrewdest traders throughout history all adapted the skill of reactionary change, as the market constantly presents new and different opportunities.”..

Bernard Baruch

.."When I bet big .. I have a mind to own a position for years .. Yet you must have a ruthless objectiveness and open mindedness as to when the facts change to exit the position, if so within hours or days .. I have not used a stop loss in 40 years"..

Stanley Druckenmiller

.."Money can't buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery"..

Spike Milligan

.."To cause high prices, all the Fed will do will be to lower the re discount rate..., producing an expansion of credit and a rising stock market; then when, business men are adjusted to these conditions, it can check, prosperity in mid career by arbitrarily raising the rate of interest. It can cause the pendulum of a rising and falling market to swing gently back and forth by slight changes in the discount rate, or cause violent fluctuations by a greater rate variation and in either case it will possess inside information as to financial conditions and advance knowledge of the coming change, either up or down. This is the most dangerous advantage ever placed in the hands of a special privilege class by any Government that ever existed. The are private, conducted for the purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money. They know in advance when to create panics to their advantage, and when to stop panic."...

Charles August Lindbergh Snr
