1 POST How to find bullish selling with RTT On Balance Volume (277)

how-to-find-bullish-selling-with-rtt-on-balance-volumeRTT On Balance Volume (RTT OBV) follows the Wyckoff volume laws of higher volume on the upswing and lessor volume on the down swing for a well performing bullish trend. Here is one example that suggest a rally for this ETF is due.

This was the view for the gold minors GDX. The bullish selling during June and July 2012 forecast the rally very well.

The RTT OBV is showing the same behavior in TBT (Short bonds, and higher interest rates).

TBT

RTT OBV does not give buy and sell signals however used with other readtheticker.com tools you can time you entry with ease. Also please review charts with Wyckoff 2.0 logic (Gann and Hurst).

NOTE: readtheticker.com does allow users to load objects and text on charts, however some annotations are by a free third party image tool named Paint.net

..."I was brutal in self-analysis. He told his sons his conclusions: “Successful trading is always an emotional battle for the speculator, not an intelligent battle.”…He knew that his biggest enemy was his own emotions."...

Novice Traders trade 5 to 10 times too big. They are taking 5 to 10% risks on a trade they should be taking 1 to 2 percent risks.

Bruce Kovner

...“People somehow think you must buy at the bottom and sell at the top to be successful in the market. That’s nonsense! The idea is to buy when the probability is greatest that the market is going to advance”...

Martin Zweig (The inspiration behind a number of Martin Zweig’s methods came, from Jesse Livermore).

We at readtheticker.com hold the view that a mix of stock chart technical analysis, Richard Wyckoff, William Gann and Jim Hurst methods plus market fundamentals allows the investor to formulate a very sound market opinion. These attributes are mutually inclusive and must be weighted equally before investing or trading in any Stock, ETF, Currency, Bond, Commodity, CFD or Mutual Fund
