1 POST John Cleese cycle method on small cap stocks (224)

john-cleese-cycle-method-on-small-cap-stocksSeriously, with the right tools in the shed, and some fairly basic advice from Barry Ritholtz of BigPicture blog you will most likely be crowned smarter than 90% of the hedge funds out there. We think even John Cleese either in or out of character could profit in the stock market.

The cliché 'is easy once you know how' couldn't be more true. Success comes from knowing the market phase and the management of swings between troughs and peaks along the way (ie cycles). Knowing the market phase is the same as the surgeon knowing which leg to operate on, if he doesn't know he is going to mess up, like a surgeon you must know the market phase the market is in before you act. This is why our website heralds Wyckoff, Gann and Hurst as legends (learn as much as you can about Wyckoff 2.0).

Review the next chart to spot the phases, and tradeable cycles within it. If you can then you can profit.

Investing Quote...

.."Thus, I affirm, every class of phenomena, whether in nature or in the stock market, must be subject to the universal law of causation and harmony. Every effect must have an adequate cause."..

William D Gann

..“Successful speculation requires staying on top of changes in industries and companies that either create new industries or improve on existing industries. The majority of your profits will come from these two … The shrewdest traders throughout history all adapted the skill of reactionary change, as the market constantly presents new and different opportunities.”..

Bernard Baruch

...“To me, the 'tape' is the final arbiter of any investment decision. I have a cardinal rule: Never fight the tape!”...

Martin Zweig

.."It's not whether you're right or wrong that's important, but how much money you make when you're right and how much you lose when you're wrong"..

George Soros

..“If a speculator is correct half of the time, he is hitting a good average. Even being right 3 or 4 times out of 10 should yield a person a fortune if he has the sense to cut his losses quickly on the ventures where he is wrong.”..

Bernard Baruch

We at readtheticker.com hold the view that a mix of stock chart technical analysis, Richard Wyckoff, William Gann and Jim Hurst methods plus market fundamentals allows the investor to formulate a very sound market opinion. These attributes are mutually inclusive and must be weighted equally before investing or trading in any Stock, ETF, Currency, Bond, Commodity, CFD or Mutual Fund
